More than 100,000 people visited Uzbekistan's pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka

Since the opening of Uzbekistan's pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, over 100,000 guests have already visited it. It is a great honor for us to welcome such a wide audience and share with them the cultural and historical heritage of our country. We sincerely hope that each visit has left vivid impressions and allowed us to get to know Uzbekistan better.

The Uzbekistan Pavilion presented an immersive exposition entitled “Garden of Knowledge: Laboratory for the Society of the Future”. The concept was developed on the initiative of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan and embodied by the internationally recognized and award-winning architectural bureau ATELIER BRÜCKNER. The theme of the pavilion echoes the main idea of the exhibition - “Designing Future Societies for Our Lives”.

The pavilion pays special attention to the cultural dialog between Uzbekistan and Japan - countries united by deep artistic traditions, including wood carving and temple architecture. This dialog opens up new prospects for cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations.

Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva:

"This project is very valuable to me because I was fortunate enough to participate in it from the very first stages of the concept development. At that time, I proposed the idea of creating a space that reflects the profound processes taking place in Uzbekistan - a harmony between innovation and tradition, a striving for the future, and respect for eternal values. The 213 unique pillar mosques in Khiva and the azure tiles of Bukhara were chosen as sources of inspiration. These elements formed the architectural and semantic basis of the pavilion. A pavilion, like our society, is a diversity of cultures, languages, and historical events. It serves as a bridge connecting the past and the future, helping the world to understand Uzbekistan's present more deeply."
Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan and Commissioner of the Pavilion, noted: "It is a great honor for me to return to Osaka today and greet you here on behalf of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan."

In just one month, the Uzbekistan pavilion has become not just an exhibition space, but a bright place where thoughts and hearts meet. More than 100,000 visitors have already explored our "Garden of Knowledge," enjoying the spirit of our country - its grace, enthusiasm, and deep-rooted love for education and upbringing.

His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, prioritized the development of alternative energy sources, declaring 2025 the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy Development."
