Since the beginning of 2023, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation has been actively preparing the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan for participation in the Expo. In collaboration with the world famous ATELIER BRÜCKNER, the architectural concept for the pavilion was prepared.

The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation of  is working on the National Pavilion together with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. The partners of the National Pavilion are: the Swiss construction company Nüssli Switzerland Ltd.

The pavilion will feature the “Garden of Knowledge” project, which will combine projects demonstrating the process of transformation of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the three priority Sustainable Development Goals: “quality education”, “inexpensive and clean energy” and “industrialization, innovation and infrastructure”.

The National Pavilion of Uzbekistan will be located in the western part of the EXPO in the central circle of the main country pavilions, so visitors will be able to access it as a priority. According to the original application, Uzbekistan plans to build a type “A” pavilion. The total area of the pavilion, consisting of three levels, is 800 sqm.

The Expo Osaka 2025 programme includes a number of cultural events, including the National Day of Uzbekistan, an extensive cultural program is being prepared, as well as a panel discussion in the women's pavilion.

Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of March 2024. On these dates, a groundbreaking ceremony will take place in Osaka.

Participation in Expo Osaka 2025 will open up many prospects and opportunities for Uzbekistan: demonstration of the country’s innovations and achievements, tourism development, investment and business opportunities, international cooperation and cooperation, as well as cultural exchange between countries.
