The Governor of Osaka Prefecture, Hirofumi Yoshimura, visited the Uzbekistan Pavilion at EXPO 2025.

During the visit, a tour of the exhibition was organised for him. The governor noted that the pavilion vividly reflects Uzbekistan's desire to transition to a ‘green economy’ and introduce renewable energy sources. Hirofumi Yoshimura emphasised that after visiting the pavilion, he had a strong desire to see Uzbekistan in person, including cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.
