Members of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament - Hajime Sasaki and Eikei Suzuki - visited the Uzbekistan Pavilion at EXPO-2025 in Osaka.

Hajime Sasaki noted that he started his acquaintance with the exhibition from the Uzbekistan Pavilion. He highly appreciated its scale, architecture and exposition, especially the section on transition to ‘green economy’. He was particularly impressed by the Uzbek mosques, characterised by the beauty of their mosaics and blue domes.
‘There are many mosques in the world, but there are almost none like the Juma Mosque with its columns,’ he noted.

Eikei Suzuki emphasised the originality of the idea with a moving platform taking visitors up to the Garden of Knowledge terrace and noted the pleasant atmosphere where one can learn about the origin of the columns through NFC tags. He also praised the initiative to reuse Japanese cedar in Uzbekistan after the Expo.
‘After visiting the pavilion, one wants to visit the country itself,’ he summarised.
